Blackwood is the latest custom VR Base gaming experience. Here, the player takes on the role of a knight in the medieval era. After in-game training, the player is tasked with defending the Empire, which is attacked by real-life enemies.
After the developments of team deathmatch concepts, this should be the next step in VR co-op games. For this top-notch experience, the biggest challenges lie in weapon use and Artificial intelligence (AI). The setting of this experience is completely different from the previous games where we insert the weapon as an automatic rifle. The player is now provided with bow and arrow, which again brings a lot of technical challenges – just the way we like it!
